Franz Heubach

I am a masters of applied science graduate in mechanical engineering who discovered my love for software development and programming as problem-solving during my education. I taught myself multiple programming languages which allowed me to transition to working for a startup in embedded hardware security as a software engineer.

My masters work combined my knowledge in mechanical engineering and software development to develop a navigation algorithm for underwater autonomous robots, as well as be a main contributor for the defence research and development collaborative autonomous framework (DCAF); set to become the standard autonomous robotics platform for the Canadian military for mine countermeasures.
